Ok so I really did try to start a blog one time when I was still in Idaho doing real estate so I thought I would see if I could even find it and try again. Since we have moved to New Jersey, a year ago now, I have thought about sharing some of our experiences so our family and friends could keep up with us if they wanted to. So I am starting over. I have really loved being here and have had a great time visiting places and meeting new people. I thought I would start sharing some of them now. So right now at this very minute the sun is shining on our mounds of snow. The big story of our winter so far is how much snow we have gotten. I am not sure exactly how much but it is ALOT! (See the pictures if I can figure out how to post them.) We had a big snow storm the day after Christmas when we got close to 2 feet. Then we kept getting storm after storm and none of it melted in between so the snow you see has been on the ground for almost 2 months now. So if we complain, can you blame us? But even though it is cold and yucky there have been times that it has been breathtakingly beautiful too. The quiet hush just after a storm when everything is covered with snow and it seems like nothing makes a sound just invites me to watch and listen. So if you care to follow our New Jersey life come along on the journey, and if not I think it will be good for me to just stop and reflect sometimes and record my thoughts. Smiles!
